Raj Bhavan hosted a session on Monday with the goal of actively involving academic leaders and educators in creating the vision of a developed India by 2047. The “Viksit Bharat@47” workshop was virtually opened by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Union Territory of Pondicherry and Telangana have enormous potential to be leaders in bringing about the desired change, as stated by Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan. She recommended educators to adopt a “enjoy and educate” strategy, generating a more interesting and productive learning environment, stressing a commitment to action over justifications.
Vice-Chancellors, directors, deans, and a significant number of faculty members from State universities, Central universities, private universities, and other higher education institutions (HEIs) around the state—including, but not limited to, IIT, NIT, and AIIMS—participated actively in the workshop.
“Today, Viksit Bharat, Sashakt Bharat is the nation’s aim! Our goal of having a developed India is one we will not give up on,” the honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared. “Today is a very important day regarding the resolutions of a developed India,” the speaker continued. I want to express my gratitude to all of the governors for organizing this session on creating a developed India. You have invited your pals to a stage where they will be responsible for guiding the nation’s youth power. The purpose of educational institutions is to foster human development, since it is only via this process that a nation is established.
