During the opening of two brand-new, cutting-edge academic buildings at Delhi Technological University on Thursday, Education Minister Atishi stated that Delhi’s technical education institutions ought to take the lead in research and innovation.

She stated that offering top-notch facilities to every student enrolled in Delhi government institutions is the aim of the Arvind Kejriwal-led administration.

According to Atishi, the recently opened eight-story buildings at Delhi Technological University (DTU) have “world-class modern facilities.” She said that these academic buildings will serve as an example of a place where students have access to all the amenities they need to help shape their future careers.

According to a statement from the ministry, “our technical education institutions should lead in the fields of research and innovation.” According to the minister, the Kejriwal administration has made advancing technical education a top priority ever since taking office.

We have continuously focused on creating first-rate facilities for our universities. As a result, the Delhi Technological University now has over 15,000 seats, up from 6,000 over the previous eight years, the speaker continued.

According to Atishi, DTU’s recently constructed academic buildings feature top-notch labs, lecture halls, faculty rooms, and conference rooms furnished with cutting-edge contemporary amenities.

The minister stated that both blocks have 36 state-of-the-art labs, 67 lecture halls, classrooms, faculty rooms, and conference rooms. She also mentioned that these spaces can hold more than 5,200 students at once.
