The institute moved up 49 spots to take the 222nd spot among universities worldwide compared to its 2024 performance.
According to the QS World University Rankings 2025, the first and biggest IIT in the nation was ranked third out of all IITs in the nation.Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) released the World University Ranking 2025, which assessed 5663 universities globally and included 1503 universities from throughout the globe. In terms of sustainability, citations per faculty, and international research network, the institute has done well.
