By Starting the ITI Admissions, Rajasthan Provides Free Education for Girls in Technical Streams

Young Girls and Boys aspiring to pursue technical education can rejoice as the admission process for Government ITIs in Rajasthan, including Sikar, has started. Interested candidates can apply online until July 10th.

Industrial Training Institute popularly known as ITI, is a government training organization providing industry-related education to high school students. It operates under the Directorate General of Employment and Training (DGET), Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, and offers training in various technical streams.

ITI provides a range of vocational training courses to meet the needs of different sectors of the economy and labor market. These programs are delivered under the National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT), which offers two pioneering programs to promote vocational training.

To complete an ITI course, candidates must demonstrate the following:

  1. Ability to read and interpret technical parameters/documents, plan and organize work processes, and identify necessary tools.
  2. Competence in documenting the technical parameters related to their tasks.
  3. Application of professional skills, knowledge, and employability skills in their tasks.
  4. Adherence to safety rules, accident prevention regulations, and environmental protection guidelines.

Graduates of ITI can work as technical assistants in railways and the army, secure government jobs in the police department, and find employment with companies like Tata Motors, Hyundai, and Suzuki. Additionally, they have the option to start their own businesses.

The Superintendent of Karmabai Government Industrial Training Institute in Laxmangarh, stated that helpdesks have been set up at the institute to assist students with any admission-related issues.
