AMU Kishanganj Centre Organized Hall Week Celebrations

The “Karwaan 2024” Hall Week events were arranged by the Aligarh Muslim University Kishanganj Centre in Bihar to commemorate the yearly celebrations and extracurricular activities of students, encouraging a sense of unity and camaraderie among them.

The week-long festivities featured a variety of student-led literary, cultural, and athletic events that were talent-focused, imaginative, and brimming with energy.

Prof. Ishrat Alam, Director of the Center, thanked the winners of the different activities held over the week and encouraged them to continue participating in similar events on a regular basis as it would considerably aid in their personal growth. He made this announcement during the annual Hall function. He emphasized the goal for the Center’s advancement and emphasized the necessity of modifying the infrastructure and cultivating positive relationships with locals in order to foster harmony and community support.

Prizes were given out by Prof. Alam to the winners, while souvenirs were given to the organizers by Drs. Zeba Naz (Warden, AMU Minority Girls Hostel) and Mohammad Asim (Warden, AMU Boys Hostel). A vote of gratitude was given by Janvi Deep Banker, Mohd Shoeb Khan, and the senior halls.The Aligarh Muslim University an Institution of National importance (Seventh Schedule, Article 246 of the Indian Constitution)

Aligarh Muslim University has a “A+” grade and a CGPA of 3.35 on a four-point scale, making it NAAC-accredited. In India Today’s 2023 University Rankings, AMU comes in at number three. According to the NIRF India Rankings for 2021, AMU was one of the top ten Indian universities. AMU is listed among the top 14 Indian universities in the 2021 ARWU (Academic Ranking of World Universities), popularly known as the Shanghai Ranking, for the second year in a row. In the India Today Ranking 2021, AMU came in at number four among Indian universities.AMU was placed eighth among Indian universities in the CWUR (Center for World University Rankings) World University Rankings 2021–22, which were published in April 2021.
