As a part of its continued commitment to CSR activity diversity, ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India inaugurated AI-enabled digital classroom at the government primary school in Kawas village. The digital classroom is an extremely important part of the “Digital Pathshala” project by which the company will aim to fill the educational gap among the rural population with the modern technology introduced in the traditional learning environment so that education could be made more accessible and engaging.
Inauguration Process Asst. Vidyut Sahayak from AM/NS India, along with Truptiben Patel, Taluka Panchayat President, Choryasi; Dr. Anil Matoo, Head of Corporate Affairs, Hazira; Archana Dhameliya, Taluka Education Officer; Nilesh Tadvi and Lata Patel, District and Taluka Panchayat members, and local leaders and school representatives inaugurated the inauguration process.
Dr Anil Matoo stated “This AI enabled classroom at Kawas marks a significant step forward in preparing the next generation of Hazira going into the digital future. This is a form of leveraging digital resources and innovation approaches for improved learning experiences and employability in the future. It’s an attempt to improve local community values.”
With the event, therefore, the digital classroom was there to showcase all its capabilities, both to the students and the dignitaries but to new tools as well through an interactive learning session. Community leaders showed their support for the said development, acknowledging important improvements in quality in education and resources digitally.
The Digital Pathshala project will create 23 digital classrooms in government primary schools spread over the Surat region, equipped with the latest technology and AI-driven tools.
