Salute to Teachers, the Career Builders of Students

Teachers
Teachers,

“Teachers are the backbone of any country, the pillar upon which all aspirations are converted into realities.”

-Dr APJ Abdul Kalam

Teachers are those who inspire guide, enrich, enlighten, motivate, and encourage students to do their best in all respects and make their learning interesting and fruitful. They divulge the hidden treasures of students and touch their lives forever. They are multitasked champions, selfless providers of support, mentors, superheroes, educationists, educators, and preceptors. They spend their life moulding every student’s valuable life without discrimination. The impact of a teacher on the life of a student is undeniable. We know students are the future of the nation; they perform vital functions in many domains and are responsible for serving society in one way or the other.

The concept of powerful education and teaching valuable skills to students is directly proportional. So skilled teachers adeptly hold things patiently and shape the educational goals of students.

There are many important ways in which teachers can have a remarkable impingement on a student’s life. They are not only role models but also extend support to students with proper guidance for a reverberant future.

Teachers motivate students to perform better in every domain and help them achieve life goals. They assess the strengths and weaknesses of their students and guide them to follow best practices. It is their guidance that makes students learn the difference between right and wrong. A wise teacher is equally compassionate toward aimless and careless students and instantly extends his helping hand to bring them to the right path in academics. They not only bring out the best in students but also teach them valuable life skills like organization, presentation, and communication. Besides these, they mould them into righteous human beings by instilling the qualities of sympathy, compassion, and empathy.

Teachers are the ultimate role models in the lives of students. Guru means Patience, sympathy, pity, kindness, understanding, helpfulness, patience, persistence, compassion, equality, humanity, empathy, inclusiveness etc. They have a priceless bond with the students and always encourage and motivate them to do better. They are dedicated learners who not only teach but listen to students’ problems and try to guide them to the best of their ability.

Right from the ancient ages to the modern age, the guru is considered a literary worker who builds the ladder of life development in his students. He is believed to be the true protector of our society. He is the one who opens the first page of the chapter of our Education. That’s why in our society, teachers are given a place after our parents. Parents and teachers are the biggest benefactors in any student’s life, and they go out of their way to help them succeed in life! No doubt, we place our mother as the first teacher who introduces the baby to the world and the father as the next who teaches the baby to walk, and then we invite Guru, who plays a predominant role in building the career of the baby. Besides this, Guru plays a significant role in moulding and shaping the life of a student into a good human being and later into a responsible citizen, a caretaker of his family, and a protector of his nation. Guru is the one who removes the layers of ignorance and illuminates the light of knowledge. Kabir Das said, “If God and Guru are side by side, I will bow down to Guru first.” He explained that it was the Guru who first told him that he was God. So, Gurus also have an influence on our minds. That’s how we stand by the words of our ancestors who said Matrudevo Bhava, Pitrudevo Bhava, and Acharya Devobhava.

We all know that there is no profession without a teacher. We know that without a teacher, there is no progress for students. Students know that their education leads their future on the path of progress and is laid for community service and country service. That means the teacher is the basis for the bright future of the students, the basis of all professions, the basis for the development of society, and the basis of national development.

Of all the professions, the most natural, untainted, and beloved profession is the teaching profession. It is because, here, both the teacher and the student should strive hard in the context that the student should be educated. Every teacher must understand the mentality of every student he is teaching, understand his financial situation, understand his family background, and then he must teach him in the right way. Without a teacher, there is no doubt that the future of the students will remain a blank sheet. So, a teacher is an extraordinary power in a student’s journey of life, and that power is the root cause to guide him and walk on the path of success. Even when a student attains any great position in his life, that honour should go to his teacher, and the same should be congratulated first. Overall, Guru’s position is very precious in our life, so kudos to all the Gurus in this world.

The role of a teacher is immense at every stage of man’s life, from birth to settlement. It is our Guru who holds our hand and guides us in every step we take. I think there can be a village without a school but can’t be any village without a guru. There is no exaggeration in saying that no one else has the place of a teacher in our human society. Even a person in any high position thinks that he is only after his guru. Good teachers are never forgotten by any student. The position of a teacher is unmatched. Even our former Presidents, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, like to be remembered as teachers because the teaching profession is highly respectable above all the professions and positions. I feel that it is literally true that a teacher melts himself like a candle and replenishes light in the lives of students.

So Dear teachers,

Our constant appreciation and regard for your persistent services. BIG SALUTE to all of you.
