India’s Educational Progress is Bringing the country Closer to Viksit Bharat: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar stated that India has always been a center of knowledge and that ongoing advancements in the education sector are bringing the nation closer to realizing the goal of “Viksit Bharat” by 2047. He believes that the liberalization of education brought about by the SOL has played a significant role in creating a developed India.

Here, Dhankhar was speaking at the School of Open Learning’s (SOL) 62nd Foundation Day event.
Praiseing the SOL, Dhankhar stated that it has facilitated education for individuals from all age groups and socioeconomic backgrounds, reduced the educational divide, and made society’s various segments easily accessible.

“Today’s theme, ‘Role of Education in the Creation of Viksit Bharat’ underscores the pivotal role open learning has played in fostering the development of our nation,” he said.

He continued by saying that the SOL’s liberalization of education has made a substantial contribution to India’s development as a developed nation and its ascent to prominence in the world’s knowledge economy.

Dhankhar added that in the past ten years, problems with unfair law and order and corruption have been resolved, and people now have a more optimistic view of the nation’s improving standing.
SOL Director Payal Mago and Vice Chancellor Yogesh Singh of Delhi University were also present at the event.

The recent initiatives implemented have fostered education in several fields enabling a larger number of individuals in choosing the careers of their choices and according to the recent industry trends.
