Digital evaluations are being introduced in tech and non-tech courses through a partnership between NSDC and HCLTech

HCLTech reports that both organizations would collaborate to encourage students from a variety of backgrounds to embrace technology.

To close the skills gap, notably in the IT and engineering sectors, the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) partnered with HCLTech.

HCLTech released a press statement stating that both organizations will collaborate to encourage students from various backgrounds to adopt technology and investigate new international markets and commercial prospects. Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO of NSDC, and C Vijayakumar, CEO and Managing Director of HCLTech, exchanged the agreement.

According to HCLTech, by integrating digital assessments into tech- and non-tech-based courses (B2B & B2C), this collaboration will allow both organizations to collaboratively change the assessment landscape and digital learning. Additionally, there is room for cooperation in the development of fresh goods and initiatives that expand and improve talent. The goal is to provide evaluation a new dimension in order to define standards in digital learning, demonstrating both organizations’ eagerness to enhance access to technology and offer a frequent check on learning.

The goal of NSDC and HCLTech’s collaboration is to increase public confidence in the labor market. Together, the two organizations will create an assessment tool that allows professionals in the workforce and students to self-evaluate and receive certification for in-demand skills. This is a big step in the direction of skill-based recruiting as opposed to qualification-based employment. Additionally, the two sides will work together to provide online courses for reskilling and upskilling in order to get ready for chances in a dynamic labor market, according to NSDC CEO Ved Mani Tiwari.

We are excited to collaborate with NSDC to use digital technologies to create a talent ecosystem that is prepared for the future for both India and the rest of the globe. Srimathi Shivashankar, Corporate Vice President and Global Head, EdTech Business, HCLTech, stated, “I am convinced that HCLTech’s tested Career Shaper learning and assessment platforms and NSDC experience in talent and nation building can make a significant impact in how technology can be smartly used for skilling.”
